The problem

Something's wrong with your stone. So you call someone. And the someone you call sells the fix.

The tile guy says replace it. The polisher says polish it. The installer says tear it out.

None of them are lying. None of them are neutral. And none of them even looked.

You're about to pay to treat a problem nobody diagnosed.

A better first step

Stone fails for real reasons, and the expensive ones hide their cause. Tiles lifting and popping across a room. Cracks that keep coming back. Dark patches spreading under the surface. Hollow spots that mean the bond is gone. Fix the tile and miss the cause, and you'll pay for it again, and again.

Some problems are simple. Etching, a stain, a dull patch, you'll know it when you see it, and we'll tell you straight if that's all you've got. But when something's failing and no one can tell you why, that's when guessing gets expensive.

So before anyone sells you a repair: we read your stone, by photos or a guided video call, and tell you what's actually happening, why, and what it truly needs. No repair to sell you. Just the answer, so the decision, and the money, stay yours.

Who reads your stone

The right training, the right chemistry, and a forensic eye. That's what it takes to read stone correctly.

The standard
Trained under Ted McFadden, who chaired and was a principal contributor on two of the committees behind the Marble Institute of America's Stone Restoration Standard, now part of the Natural Stone Institute, and delivered the finished standard at Coverings 2016. We hold Certified Master Stone Restoration Specialist status under that standard, not guesswork.
The chemistry
Trained in the stone chemistry Maurizio Bertoli built in 1989, the specialty line that changed professional stone restoration worldwide, carried forward today by Stu Rosen. Knowing that chemistry is how we tell a chemical failure from a structural one, and that difference decides everything that comes next.
The diagnosis
Trained in the forensic methodology of Fred Hueston, who has spent four decades in stone inspection and failure analysis, has written over 30 books, and is one of the most published authorities in the field. We are Stone Restoration Master Course Certified through his programme. It's how we read a stone before anyone recommends touching it.
What we do

Diagnosis first. Then the right products. And certification for those who answer to a standard.

01 · Consultation
Start with a diagnosis, not a sales pitch.
We tell you exactly which photos to take, or we walk through it together on a guided video call. A trained eye reads what your stone is actually doing, what's failing, why, and what it needs. You get a straight answer, and an honest opinion from someone who doesn't profit from the repair or the replacement.

02 · Product
The right product matters. The wrong one etches your stone for good.
Most damage isn't wear, it's the wrong cleaner. We tell you which products actually protect your stone, the ones we use at home and on the job, and which "stone-safe" bottles to put down.
03 · Certification
Certification is coming.
We're building an environmental certification for stone and surface care across hotels, resorts, and marine operators. If that's your world, let's talk early.
